The irony of you going to prison for a natural plant(cannabis, weed, MJ, marijuana, hemp) in nature is absurd. Many cultures for years have used this "Tree of Life" to sustain their longevity, perform spiritual rituals, third eye awakening and peace and calm.
The obvious is alcohol leads to more deaths from alcohol poisoning or DUI/DWI.
Hemp became illegal due to propaganda of a wealthy lumber company owner in the 1800's that felt the robust growing plant will cut into his profits. Cannabis and Hemp plants are used to make fuel, clothing paper products, hair care and the oil from hemp were already used for cures of diseases centuries ago.
Financial
We are all aware that cannabis is called "weed". Weeds opposed to flowering plants or crabgrass can grow in many types of environment with no extreme methods of cultivation at all. If you live in a house and you have a lawn, then you must own a weed whacker or weed killer. Weeds can grow without intervention and very healthy. Can you imagine what the use of this naturally growing plant can do to save the world from economic crisis.
Health
In some states medicinal uses of marijuana is used for pain relief or cataract. Aids victims are given medicinal marijuana. What is medicinal marijuana - it is just government approve branded marijuana. The truth is we can all grow this plant indoors and outdoors. So in the end are we that stupid that we justify our existence and economic collapse for paying for things that the earth has free like water, medicine, fuel, clothing, food - yes food. the seeds of marijuana is one of the highest sources of protein that you can get from a plant. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
Studies have shown that people who smoke cigarettes and smoke weed have less cancer than those who smoke just cigarettes only. The truth is weed smoking attacks cancer cells, less cancer means longer life; hence marijuana the "Tree of Life"
Psychological
More fights break out in bars and in families when people are drunk. This is not the same for marijuana, why? Because you are too mellow and cool and philosophical to become agitated. Just think about it for a second. Alcohol is well know to kill brain cells, but marijuana actually protects cells. This will explain why alcohol is legal and weed is not - because they want you to die. The most money people pay for the cost of health is when they are on their death bed. That is when they start to milk and bilk you for whatever you got. The sooner you are on your way to death, the more money they can make. Think about all the commercials for pharma selling medicine with all the extra side affects that are worse than the original medical condition you had to begin with. The side of effects of marijuana are peace, calmness, spirituality, inspiration, philosophical thoughts and occasional munchies! It it was so bad to begin with then they would not be trying to prescribe it to people for their health. It seems there is a BIG lie somewhere and we are all too stupid to eat it up.
It is not just a neo hippie movement, but if more people smoke weed, (like the Indian peace pipe) Then we would just be too laid back to want to fight a war in some foreign land for people who did not a damn thing to us!
